CIRCULAR 9 OF 2018

Dear Parents

CIRCULAR 9 OF 2018

SUPPORT OF LOCAL BUSINESS TO BENEFIT OUR SCHOOL

  1. SASOL: NEWCASTLE CORNER

An arrangement has been made with the SASOL Garage, Newcastle Corner, where the school can win prizes of between R5 000 and R 1 000 on a monthly basis.  We would like to motivate parents, family members, friends and colleagues to buy fuel from the garage or any items from the shop and to write the word HUTTENPARK on the back of the slip and place it in the specially marked container in the SASOL Delight Shop. We need a minimum of 150 cash slips per month to qualify.

  1. FACTORY PLAZA

ANY purchases made at The FACTORY PLAZA must be written down in the book when paying at the cash register.  The amount and the word HUTTENPARK must be indicated.  This is for purchases at ALL shops including the hair salon, the Spens, the furniture  and toy shop with the exception of the café in the front of the Plaza.  Don’t forget about the well-stocked stationery shop close to the entrance.  They have a list of our stationery requirements and we have quality tested most of the items. The school will receive a percentage of the monthly sales in all the shops.

  1. WOOLWORTHS MY SCHOOL CARD

A My School card will be issued to you, with Huttenpark as beneficiary. As soon as you have registered online at Woolworths My School Card, a percentage of all purchases that are done at Woolworths, Engen Quick Shop, Waltons, Altec Netstar and Flight Centre will be allocated to our school on a monthly basis.  Just hand the card, which you will receive in the post, to the cashier.  This card can be used in conjunction with any other Woolworth’s card that you may have.  You will also qualify for the many in-store 10% discount offers.  Please select HUTTENPARK as a beneficiary on page 2 of the application form.  By using your latest Huttenpark re-registration form, the school can apply on your behalf.

This is an easy way of raising funds for the school without much effort. Please encourage all your friends, family members and colleagues to select Huttenpark as beneficiary when shopping at any of these stores.  This may eliminate other fund raising at school if the system is used to its full potential.

We count on your support.

Regards
